Poland is an attractive centre for global business, offering a well-educated workforce with a reputation for hard work and a relatively low cost base. There have been significant changes to Polish rules in recent years, with the current government introducing mandatory savings and pensions contributions for all employees. This course covers the basics any payroll professional needs to know if operating in Poland, whether they supervise local colleagues running payroll for the company in Poland or if they are responsible for managing an outsource provider. You will learn the basic mechanics of a Polish payroll calculation enabling you to check on individual payslip queries. The course will also explain relevant employment law requirements.
Attendees will be able to accurately follow a simple pay calculation and identify all of the key items on a payslip. You will also be able to:
- Identify all key deadlines
- Understand the penalty regimes and the consequences of noncompliance
- Have a detailed understanding of the scope of service you are purchasing from an outsource provider
- Identify what information you need to pass to the outsource partner and why you have to provide it
