Decrypting the Main Global Payroll Complexities
Available Until:
23 Oct 2020 RegisterOverview
Setting up processes to manage the hiring, terminating, and paying of employees is “extremely” or “very” complex in 42% of jurisdictions, according to a new business complexity survey of 76 locations across the globe. Labor laws are difficult to understand and comply within their jurisdictions. It gets even harder if payroll legislation continually changes – sometimes retroactively – especially if the local government does not provide useful compliance guidance.
There are multiple sources of complexity for global payroll directors such as understanding local labor laws and being compliant with them, reporting requirements, and managing union relationships.
