Who Should Attend

Payroll practitioners in the early stages of their careers, along with accounting, benefits, bookkeeping, HR administrators, anyone interfacing with payroll, and those preparing for the Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) and Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) exams.

Schedule

In-Person Class
First Day - Registration: 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Class: 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Second Day - Class: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Third Day - Class: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Virtual Classroom
Days: Wednesday and Friday
Time: 3:00 p.m. ET
Duration: Two hours with a five-minute break
Number of Class Sessions: Nine

The virtual classroom will use an online training center. The course will be presented in segments which cannot be purchased separately.


Recertification Credit

In-Person Class: Earn up to 18 Recertification Credit Hours (RCHs), 1.8 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), or 21 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours. No prerequisites or advance preparation required. Fields of Study: Taxes = 15.0, Business Law = 4.0, Communication = 2.0

Virtual Classroom: Earn up to 18 Recertification Credit Hours (RCHs), 1.8 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), or 18 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours. No prerequisites or advance preparation required. Fields of Study: Taxes = 13.5, Business Law = 3.0, Communication = 1.5


Hotel Accommodations

Room reservations and hotel arrangements are the sole responsibility of the individual. The APA is not responsible for any issues related to reservations that the individual makes directly with the hotel. This includes final payments or adjustments.
