If asked about listening skills, most would say, "We listen to hear what is being said." We will demonstrate how we actually listen to understand the meaning of those words. In this session, we describe the importance of listening, identify barriers to listening, and look at listening in difficult emotional situations. We will also look at increasing information flow to enhance productivity and teamwork. Additionally, we will give you several practical exercises you can complete with a mentor, co-worker, or your team to increase everyone's listening skills.
